Dactyloctenium aegyptium. The racemes are fewer in number and plants
shorter in stature probably due to grazing by cattle.In areas of cattle
grazing or lawn mowing by machines, many grasses appear in dwarf forms with
abnormal inflorescences rather than their full form.
