Further, it is not A. procumbens= A. hamosus because this specis have
broader leaves and laterally compressed fruits when dried it give rough
tubercled appearance.
There is one species called A. heterophyllus (Syn. A. vaginalis var.
heterophyllus which has both rounded, elliptic and very long lanceolate
leaves. Thus fruits and bracts are very important characters for
identification.
