A.deinorrhizum Stapf is found in J&K, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Tubers are extremely poisonous and are important in herbal medicine. However, The Plant List 2013 mentions this name (A.deinorhizum) as a synonym of Aconitum heterophylloides (Bruhl) Stapf which is restricted to Eastern Himalaya only. Flora of India vol-1 recognize this species different from A.heterophylloides.
Aconites of Western Himalaya are quite confusing to me; I wish one could write a monograph for clarifying identities.
