Dear Dr. Rawat, The Lantana indica I have seen in the BRT Wildlife Sanctuary, is a very small-statured plant, rarely growing more than 25 cm height. Lantana indica does not have a spiny stem. The plant is quite rare in the field, or perhaps we miss it quite often on account of its size. I am sorry, but I do not have photos of this species. I will surely find and take some when I next go to BRT. The plants that I saw in a nursery in Bangalore are most definitely not Lantana indica. I spoke to one person in the nursery and he said that it is a garden variety of Lantana camara, and bred to have a smooth stem without thorns. With best regards, Bharath Sundaram.
