No, Didi, the soil is nutrient-rich, and this plant maybe type species
of *Crinum
asiaticum* L., as you have suggested earlier.

Pedicellate flower, length and width of leaves, length of perianth tube and
lobes do match and FoC has fragrant flowers. Roxburgh's *toxicarium* may
not be type species, and I do not know anything of the endless type
botanists do have.
