“I am sending you the pictures of *Cassia (now Chamaecrista) mimosoides*, a
closely allied species to C. kleinii, required by you. The latter species is
distinguished mainly by stalked glands on the petiole and less number of
leaflets (10-20 pairs only). Otherwise both the plants are more or less
similar looking.


I shot these pics at ICMR campus, Belgaum in Oct07.” from Vijayasankar ji.

I am looking for this plant Cassia kleinii for my butterfly garden. I am
sure it is found in abundance around here but I dont recognise this plant. (
Could'nt find a single photo on net)
