Question is genuine. It is matter of opinion.

P. Taylor considered U. purpurascens as synonym of U. graminifolia and U.
arcuata as a distinct entity.
I consider that U. purpurascens and U. arcuata are same and U. graminifolia
is different.

You can follow any of it!

retgards,
jana

Thank you Janarthanam ji for the ID...

1. Garg ji, the efi database does not have a page on the species suggested
by Janarthanam ji, in efi, both U. pupurascens and U. graminifolia are
together on the U. graminifolia page.
2. The plant list considers U. purpurascens as a syn. of U. graminifolia
and U. arcuata is a separate entity
3. What should be considered the correct name of this plant - U.
purpurascens or U. arcuata

I am a bit confused....

Thanks and regards

Dear Garg ji,
They are not *Utricularia graminifolia*.

Details in 5864 and 5886 show that they are *U. prupurascens* (= *U.
arcuata*). Other two could be same but details are not visible.

jana
