If your plant matches the plant at my flickr photostream:

then it may be *Acnistus arborescens* of Solanaceae ... native to tropical
Americas, cultivated elsewhere in tropics ... popularly known as Gallinero
or Wild Tobacco, the flowers are followed by pea-sized orange tomato-like
fruits.
