Bimbi in sanskrit/ ayurvedic botany books tindora in gujarati, and in madhya pradesh hindi
nice depiction and cross section, Surajit my understaniding was that tela kucho that helps liver disorder is a bit different (that's why cant go by the colloquial names..).... fruit is pointed at the distal end i think sort of like a triangular end .... (????) vs bimbi is rounded at shoulders and one end is narrowed but still cylindrical... real tela kucho and this bilimbi /tindora : botanically more differences exist ..
