All the four photographs displayed earlier belong to Chinar (Kashmiri). But the single photo cilcked at Solan by Anil is of American Sycamore i.e. Platanus occidentalis. I had planted both the species raised through cuttings at UHF Botanical Garden Nauni side by side and by the time I retired as Prof & Head on 31.03.2010, these had grown to quite tall trees. I had supplied rooted plants of these trees to many clients as well as the state Forest Deptt.
