All the four photographs displayed earlier belong to Chinar (Kashmiri). But
the single photo cilcked at Solan by Anil  is of American Sycamore i.e.
Platanus occidentalis.  I had planted both the species raised through
cuttings at UHF Botanical Garden Nauni side by side and by the time I
retired as Prof & Head on 31.03.2010, these had grown to quite tall
 trees.  I had supplied rooted plants of these  trees to many clients as
well as the state Forest Deptt.
