Efloraofindia was awarded with prestigious Wipro-NFS Sparrow <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/award-for-efloraofindia> Award. Dr. Gurucharan Singh was named as the Pitamah of efloraofindia <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/pitamah-of-efloraofin-dia>, who also became the first member to post more than 20,000 messages. Dr Pankaj Kumar & Sh. Dinesh Valke were selected as Best Flora photograph​ers <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/best-flora-photograph-ers> on efloraofindia. It conducted family fortnights <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/monthly-family-weeks/2014> every month on specific families to encourage members to post their collections along with helping them in correct identifications. Araceae, Arecaceae and Zingiberaceae Fortnight conducted during August 2014 received highest number of uploads from the members. Attempts have also been started during this year to update genera pages <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/indiantreepix/HIBrovuLHe0> so as to incorporate most of the species available in India & nearby areas with details & keys directly or through links as far as possible. It is expected to be completed it by Dec.'2015 for most of the genera having more than four species in India. Phytodiversity Journal <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/phytodiversity> has been launched largely due to the concerted efforts of Dr. Balkar Singh and Dr. Nidhan Singh, ably guided by a dedicated editorial team and advisory board largely consisting of members of efloraofindia. Recently it has started incorporating scientific publications of scholars & experts at its site so that they can find & share their publications with each other for better research.
