I am extremely sorry for sudden demise of Prof. James L. Reveal on 9th
January, 2015 in Ithaca city, New York (USA). It is a great loss to Plant
Taxonomy for ever. He will be remembered for his mastery in Plant
Nomenclature, APG system, Polygonaceae family, US flora (part) and more
than 500 research papers! He has several joint publications with LEADING &
RENOWNED TAXONOMISTS LIKE---ROBERT THORNE, KANCHI N GANDHI, NESOM GUYSON,
AND OTHERS. He was also remembered for his latest Angiosperm Clasiification
published in PHYTONEURONE in 2012
I was also co-authored with this great Taxonomist for 3 publications in
2011, 2012 & 2013.
I REQUEST ALL BOTANISTS, ESPECIALLY PLANT TAXONOMISTS IN INDIA SHOULD
MOURNE FOR HIS SOUL
May his soul rest in peace!
