Hi, Santhosh ji, Could you pl. confirm it ? Some earlier relevant feedback: It is probably S. wightii - but I have to confess I never yet troubled to learn the difference between S. wightii and S. indica (longipila) both of which are in S. India - could you just check out the difference in case it is indica? It can only be one of those two very similar species. Chris Fraser-Jenkins, Kathmandu.

To: [email protected] It grows on exposed rocky slopes in full sun where there is no soil. From Siddarabetta, near Bangalore. It was completely dry when I collected a small piece. After bringing it home, i immersed it in water and in three hours it seems to have revived completely. <https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-CMQqt_uTLjs/VLXqUKyzBdI/AAAAAAAAC5E/oZdesA3xK0U/s1600/DSC_0041.JPG> <https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-39DftTgMxB0/VLXqilHvFPI/AAAAAAAAC5M/gyMz8f5byR8/s1600/moss%2Bcombo.jpg> <https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-sclLkyLE1Ig/VLXqul3Bi9I/AAAAAAAAC5U/9YWbK_MsggM/s1600/DSC_0048.JPG> <https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-fP-vq5_JDAE/VLXrGx9MWDI/AAAAAAAAC5c/4yj7vp6GPx8/s1600/DSC_0061.JPG> <https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MH759lrms1M/VLXrQ7giqSI/AAAAAAAAC5k/UztL-K_nXxk/s1600/DSC_0045.JPG> <https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jwW4NyitcQc/VLXr5AHNCHI/AAAAAAAAC5s/rM0IYVY7u_o/s1600/DSC_0055.JPG> <https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8SRoOfbtbb0/VLXsawzaoXI/AAAAAAAAC50/6FWa7AjST_A/s1600/DSC_0056.JPG> <https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ZdWM8VIbtO4/VLXqLd9hKLI/AAAAAAAAC48/oQ6LLHCgi6c/s1600/DSC_0038.JPG> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "efloraofindia" group.
