As per FoC <http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=200013667> *Abelmoschus manihot* subsp. *tetraphyllus* var. *tetraphyllus* is found in Indonesia and Phillippines. As per Haines, Prain, Roxburgh and Hooker this should be *Hibiscus pungens* Roxb.
