This is none of the two species which are synonymous with the epithet
*'pubescens'*. I do not know if there is a third one  I do not have flora
of Karfnataka. Maybe Navendu Ji can tell us more.

To me it is a member of *Jusminum coarctatum* Roxb.-*Jasminum
rottlerianum* Wall.
complex. SInce TPL grouped all under *J. coarctatum* Roxb. and several
herbarium can be viewed in KEW, please check probability.
