I came across the following paper ' A review of the orchid diversity of 
Andaman & Nicobar Islands, India -
Karthigeyan *et al. *it confirms in Fig. 10 (D) as Dendrobium polyanthum.

I had come across this on a broken dead branch on the forest path so I 
decided to carry it back with me to Mumbai.
After a week I was surprised to see it sprouting buds!
These flowered and now there are 2 flowers. I noticed that on blooming the 
Labellum was white with a few maroon streaks, 
after a couple of days the white developed into a lovely pale yellow glow 
in the centre.

shot very soon.
