With your cooperation and participation we gathered over 2200 tree observations in 2014. It is now time for a repeat of the event. Neighborhood Trees Campaign 2015 will be held from 22nd to 28th April 2015. We are excited about organizing the event again this year. Starting on Earth Day, 22nd April 2015, join thousands of individuals and groups from across India to photograph, map and share stories of trees. Along with this you can also record additional features like fruiting, flowering and new leaf of trees. These will be aggregated and consolidated into a report. Just like last year we would like you to be a partner in this year’s campaign. Partner organizations are expected to organize a “tree walk” and facilitate participants in their locality to photograph, document and upload tree observations to treesindia.in, during the campaign days. They are also expected to help with publicizing the event in local circles and the press.
