oxalis stricta may be

but difficult to say unless you have details of the rhizome and the habit,
etc

oxalis stricta i have seen have flowers almost the same size as the leaves

here the one flower seems quite small compared to the leaves.

since its  a dense mat (pic 3), i dont think it will suffer from uprooting
a couple of the plants for the full picture and measurements, including
those of the flowers.

Some of the oxalis species of the hundreds around the world  are considered
noxious weed

so may be you  want a correct id for your project, i thinks.
