Hi, This is the Badam or Indian/ Bengal Almond tree [Terminalia catappa]. It is
a native of the Moluccas and the Andaman Islands and is often cultivated in
gardens.              With regards,                 Neil Soares. From:

Hello friends
Requesting to please ID this big tree growing in a cultivated garden in Goa in
May 2015.
Leaves looked like Terminalia catappa but were much larger. Also the branching
pattern looked different. Is this Terminalia catappa only?
Thanks and Regards
