thanks Tapasda
That's a lot of beads on the small branch
I have not seen anything like that in street plantings in the roadside .

but I keep a watch on the street putranjiva trees, esp
after some big kaal baisakhi storms and hurricane aila

one putranjiva was completely toppled and died at the Kol Bot G in Shibpur
and that sort of drew our amateur botanists 's interest and we started
looking to see if street plantings of putranjiva will fall, and if so will
it do with the same frequency as the krishanachura and radhachura trees.
the last two have been falling with regular frequency, too many to count.
among a list of many others.

is this a recent picture? what season is best to find these?
