There is a lot of similarity bet Butea superba( not monosperma) and
Spatholobus parviflorus (syn B. parviflora). This is the latter
because the flowers (pods) are in a panicle. B. superba flowers would
be in a raceme. I am yet to find B. superba in flowers, if anyone has
seen pls post the pictures. Regards, Shrikant
