Thanks Aarti ji for the links wherein the plants are identified by Dinesh ji and Prashant ji. I still remember that this was a tree and not a climber. The crucial character is the midvein of leaflets. If the midvein starts from the margin at base then it is Senegalia pennata or if it starts centrally of subcentrally, then Senegalia caesia (here Acacia torta is a synonym). I find that in the field note it is mentioned that the midvein is starting centrally or subcentrally and therefore the decision goes in favour of Senegalia caesia. Regards,
