Dear Dr. Garg
It can be either *Cyperus iria* or *C. alulatus,* both are very
similar.
In *Cyperus iria *rachis of the spikes are glabrous and glumes not
spinulose-ciliate
on the keel. But in *C. alulatus * rachis of the spikes are hispid on
angles and glumes are often spinulose-ciliate on the keel.
