Thank you Sir. Is this considered a native species? The Wikipedia page on the species as well as the list of alien species in India according to A. Khuroo et al (*Alien flora of India: taxonomic composition, invasion status and biogeographic affiliations*) says that it is a native of the Caribbean while the flowersofindia.net page labels it a native of India.
