Interesting. I am legume lover. Interested in microsymbiont associated with
root nodules of wild legumes. We are pioneer in molecular characterization
of rhizobia associated with wild legumes of Indian Thar desert. As above
ground diversity in plants, below ground microbes diversity associated with
plants has to be explored. I will be happy to receive information about
root nodules in these wild native legumes of India. pics of nodules
attached to roots, Preserved nodules in silica gels etc. It would be great
to isolate N fixing novel rhizobia from such un-explored legumes. Due
respect will be provided to the person helping us in characterizing novel N
fixing rhizobia and in way knowing our indigenous rhizobia.
