Anurag ji, Combretum albidum G.Don (1827) is an accepted name with C. ovalifolium Roxb. (1832) as its synonym. The habit of the species is recorded to be a liana or creeper but you mention this to be a shrub. More interesting is the fact that the flowers in the plant are subsessile and the stalk subtending the fruits is up to 2 mm long whereas the images posted by you show well developed pedicels. Thus in my opinion this could be recognized as a distinct entity with varietal status. If you are able to go back to the locality and collect flowering and fruiting materials (not only photographs), take measurements, further notes on the habit and preserve the collected specimens then we can arrive at a definite conclusion. Regards, Tapas.
