Dear all, I am delighted to see my Ph.D. guide *Dr. Perumal Ravichandran* (Reader, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, TN) on this group. He is a great scientist with unmatchable expertise in the fields of Agrostology (study of grasses), plant physiology, biotechnology etc. Being one of the very few experts on the grasses, he has published several papers and described new species. We are lucky to have him with us. I strongly hope that he will spare some time, amidst his busy schedule and projects, for our group in identification of grasses and other plants.
