My comment in the thread was not intended for the Rosaceae plant here. It was for *another thread* <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/indiantreepix/XfW-j0YK9ZE> for a yellow flowered monocot. Somehow here it got mixed! The white flowered Rosaceae plant looks like Spiraea cantoniensis to me too.
