Dear Sir,

*Ficus amplissima *differs from other *Ficus* species having aerial roots;
with very few aerial roots hardly touch the ground, unlikely in *Ficus
virens* where aerial roots contribute more to main trunk.

*F. amplissima* has main trunk gregarious, light coloured, pale-green
whitish or greyish, often marked with vertical clefts and smooth.

*Ficus mollis *has tomentose branchlets, and leaves spirally arranged.

Kind regards,

Varun

Trunk looks different here............F. amplissima is a serious straggler
with plenty of aerial roots ultimately contributing to main trunk .
