At Veer Savarkar Marg, Mahim, Mumbai a Badam tree was allegedly poisoned by
an Outdoor Adverising Agency as the tree was blocking their hoarding
featuring a poster of the upcoming Vikram Bhatt film Shapit. Residents of
the area says the tree started shedding an unusually large number of its
leaves. I think some chemical substances had been poured into the tree by
drilling holes into its trunk. As it is the number of trees are reducing
day by day on Mumbai roads, and now these things like poisoning of trees.
The citizens of Mumbai have to suffer because of some greedy people. I
think the BMC should BAN the advertisements of these culprits. I would be
grateful if any one could tell me is there a way to save the Badam Tree
now? Is there any chance of its recovery during the rainy season?
Please help.
Regards,

Mani.
