Common names: Dev-Babhal, Tambuti, Bhesa.
 the caducous thorns are in pairs and of two types:
the smaller 0.5-2 cm long, thin, where as
the larger 3-6 cm long, thick, 0.5 cm broad at base, tapering upwards,
conical, connate at base, hollow, ivory white to creamy, straight,
sharp and polished.
