Thanks, Ashwini ji.
Pl. see *Boehmeria*
<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/m---z/u/urticaceae/boehmeria>
for
details.
Problem arises as no one (FOC, FOP, FON or Floras of India) wants to state
when they have published a particular volume of their flora in their
efloras. That's why decision becomes difficult which one to follow.
However, FOC appears to be the latest.

*Boehmeria platyphylla* D.Don
<http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=5&taxon_id=200006394>
(Tropical Africa, Pakistan eastwards to China and Japan) (syn. of *Boehmeria
macrophylla* Hornem. <http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl/record/kew-2678316> as
per The Plant List (published in 2014) & FOC
<http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=242308717>).
GRIN <https://npgsweb.ars-grin.gov/gringlobal/taxonomydetail.aspx?id=310218>
(updated in 2004) also supports this.

But now Catalogue of Life (released in 2016) says it to be syn. of *Boehmeria
virgata *var. *macrostachya* (Wight) Friis & Wilmot-Dear
<http://www.catalogueoflife.org/col/details/species/id/9dddf8e4bfdd3880ed2388da3d08c2a4/synonym/d377c439a2884b69430138c22fb84552>
&
*Boehmeria macrophylla* (Thunb.) Hornem.
<http://www.catalogueoflife.org/col/details/species/id/a8a6c2e29b4d32f8cec21b8a49b25478/synonym/989198dbdec23423e7ee67595f3ac3d5>
is given as a syn. of *Boehmeria virgata **subsp. **macrophylla* (Hornem.)
Friis & Wilmot-Dear
