Dear All,
There has been a mix-up somewhere and I cannot locate the image whichdoes, from
my memory match a Centaurea - the main links are to Echinops.
Would someone kindly send me the original single image of the plantfrom
Kashmir?

Best Wishes,

Chris Chadwell

Thanks, Chadwell ji.I think it should be Centaurea iberica Trevir. ex Spreng.
as per images herein.I could find it out from comparative images in efi at
‎Carduoideae

I am confused here.  There is a single image with no information where the
photo was taken. It is clearly not an Echinops?
Kindly explain further.
