Correctly identified. Flowers of the Himalaya record this from Afghanistan to West Nepal on damp shady cliffs @ 800-2000m. The only Primula to be found at these elevations. Collet found this near water or under damp rocks at Shimla - flowering Jan to December. Other sources say from Khyber Pass to extreme south-West Nepal in humid rivers & waterfalls.
I first came across it by a small waterfall in the hot Sutlej en route to Baspa Valley, Kinnaur.
