Thanks Garg ji for this validation; the posted plant remains inconclusive for the third time; earlier two posts were 02 FEB 09 <https://groups.google.com/d/msg/indiantreepix/LYTbOuo-lFs/52DaMTq_0MIJ> and 10 OCT 12 <https://groups.google.com/d/msg/indiantreepix/bQyh0liMBqo/c8HkMw6Q7o0J>.
Did not understand your line: ... As per *these images* of *J. trinervia* in FOI <http://www.flowersofindia.net/catalog/slides/Three%20Nerved%20Squirrel%20Tail.html> are not correct. At FOI, the pictures are not of my posted plant. I read through all posts of our group, related to *J. trinervia* -- it looks like *J. betonica* gets discussed almost in all of them. Perhaps because 1) the bracts are white with green nerves 2) at The Plants List, *J. trinervia* is treated as synonym of *J. betonica*, though not with full confidence. But I think they are separate species. *J. betonica* is relatively, quite a tall plant, and not sure if it roots at nodes (as described for *J. trinervia*). Regards.
