It is not reported in India (except for a reference of 1914) as per ILDIS <http://www.legumes-online.net/ildis/aweb/td001/td_00135.htm> in contrast to references of *Calliandra haematocephala* <http://www.legumes-online.net/ildis/aweb/td001/td_00130.htm>
