This is neither fern nor Curculigo for sure. These tubers seems much closer to Hedychium or may be some other Zingiberaceae member..... But guess what.....small rounded tubers (corms) on the top central region does belong to ORCHIDS!!!! It could be some species of Geodorum of Eulophia! Pankaj
