Dear friends, I am closing this query considering the posted plant to be *Asytasia dalzelliana*. The smaller version of flower must be simply a variation. I could not find any other species of *Asystasia* in Digital Flora of Karnataka <http://florakarnataka.ces.iisc.ac.in/hjcb2/species.php?id=A&cat=all>, FoI <http://www.flowersofindia.net/risearch/search.php?query=Asystasia&stpos=0&stype=AND>, eFI <https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/system/app/pages/search?scope=search-site&q=Asystasia>, FoS field guides by Shrikant ji.
