Dear Shobha Ji, The plant in the attached photo is a monocot plant which can be said from the parallel venation of the leaves. Common name of this plant is Princess Lily it was named after Princess Diana its a hybrid plant hence its scientific name is *Alstroemeria 'Princess Grace' .*Alstroemerias commonly known as "Peruvian Lily" or the "Lilies of the Incas" are all native to South America, mostly Chile and Brazil belonging to the family Alstromeriaceae.
