This particular type of flower is difficult to to identify exactly with
limited characters seen in the picture. I was fooled earlier by similar
looking flower. Various flowers namely Camellia (Tea ) Mesua ferrea,
Gordonia Onchoba sp etc.
In your information you have said that it is a 2-3 feet herb. Then Tanay ji
is most probably correct as tea cultivations are common in Sri Lanka too(I
suppose)
