In my opinion, 2016 was a great year for eFI as it witnessed a complete
revolutionary change over of the format, and many more new additions. The
huge data is now being transformed to systematic information bit by bit,
and incorporating images on the pages have made it a very useful and
reliable resource. I must say that the main contributors have been Ashwini
Bhatia Ji, Saroj Kasaju Ji, Lalithamba Ji along with many regular
contributors.

I congratulate Garg Ji and all the members helping in insertion of pics on
the website for their tireless efforts.

I hope we will find more representation of northeastern flora in the year
2017, and as Dinesh Ji have said, some very uncommon and rare species will
be added in the database. Adding phenology and geographical notes will add
one more dimension, if we are able to do it. As we have almost seen off
family fortnights this year, we can think of any other such participatory
events, as many as possible in the year.
Thanks
