*Hibiscus calyphyllus* Cav. is not an Indian element,linear  epicalyx
present there in Hibiscus calyphyllus

http://florakarnataka.ces.iisc.ac.in has given the description and also
reported Abelmoschs angulosus from Shimoga area, Epicalyx is ovate 4-5
lobed.
