*Macaranga denticulata* (Blume) Müll.Arg. Note the conspicuous glands at the base of leaves and petioles inserted slightly above the base of the leaves. As regards the varietal name, this appears to be the less pubescent var. *pustulata *but we can be sure of this only if the fruits are made available which will not be deeply bilobed as in var. *denticulata *and there will be a large viscidly glandular patch on the back of the cocci.
