Dear Friends,

It's a saying in Mumbai....."बाग़ों मे बाग़ रानी चा बाग़"

Yes I am talking about Rani Bagh.... Victoria Garden….Pride of Mumbai…
which has the combination of poetry and mystery with a feeling of serenity
and joy..... though the BMC is hell-bent turning it into a Prani Sangrah...
Zoo… but in spirit and truth it is a Botanical garden with more than 250
species of majestic & rare trees. Amherstia nobilies, Sita Ashok, Mahua,
Yellow Silk cotton profusely flowering.... We invite you all for a Tree
Appreciation walk in Rani Bagh on 26th Feb,17.

* Our 80th Tree walk on Sunday 26th Feb, 2017                  *

*Venue: Ranibagh also called Byculla Zoo, [VJB Udyan]*

*Time: 8.00 a.m.*

*Duration of walk: 3 hours*

*Meeting Point: We will be informing you later as the main entrance is not
yet opened to public. We enter from the Patanwala road, which is also
known as side entrance. But we are hopeful that after election on 21st Feb,
main gate may be opened for public by 26th February.*

The Veermata Jijabai Bhonsle Udyan or simply Ranibagh or Byculla Zoo to
Mumbai residents, is a botanical garden. It has more than 3000 trees *[ 276
species]*.

We will sending the list of the trees which we plan to show during our
Walk, in few days.

Hope to see you all,

TAW TEAM
