Much closer to *Ficus drupacea *Thunb., plant shows different leaf shapes, hairiness and venations according to habitat. I had observed similar leaves and figs in *Ficus drupacea* at Namdapha, Arunachal Pradesh, where receptacles were globose (much oblong in Western Ghats).
