Thank you Swamy Ji but Based on the characters I have identified the plant as Dalbergia ecastophyllum; A shrub, up to 20 ft. or more high, with dark purple branchlets and small crowded panicles of fragrant white flowers; in swamps by the sea.The simple leaves have petioles 5 to 12 mm long and elliptical or ovate blades 2.5 to 14 cm long and 2 to 8 cm broad. They are leathery, glossy green, rounded at the base, pointed at the tip, and pubescent on the under side; fruits elongated, lenticular about 1.5 to 3 cm long that contains one flattened, brown seed. there are several variations in the pictures on Net; sometimes there may be ecological variations also. regards A.Lalithamba On Tue, Apr 11, 2017 at 1:45 PM, J.M.
