May be a Taxonomic problem yet to be resolved. I agree that the same (L.nicotianifoli) from W.Ghats looks very different being taller, more robust with dense inflorescence. This species under the name L. pyramidalis Wall. is well known between 1500-3000m. TPL2013 mention this as a synonym of L.nicotianifolia. Treating both (L.pyramidalis & L.nicotianifolia) as same may be erroneous (?).
