The images show some characteristic features of Rubiaceae including the
bifid stigma and persistent calyx in fruit. I remember Gurcharan sir
posting a similar plant 2 years back from the same area, around the same
time. A late blooming herb towards the end of monsoon in the grasslands.

*Swertia* would have nectaries/glands present at the base of the inner face
of petals which are clearly lacking here.
