 You may well be correct.

  J. dichotomum is a weed in South Florida, USA. Leaves here are typically a 
much lighter green than those in Dimple's photos though, possibly due to 
nutrient deficiency on the extremely alkaline soil? It is a fairly strong 
scrambler, often smothering other vegetation. Flowers are considerably smaller 
than J. nitidum and have a different fragrance.
