Dear Neil Soares, Please have a close look at the pattern of flower arrangement on inflorescence in your picture and see how the fruits in the Sathyendra's picture arranged. One more thing to be observed carefully is the leaf venation. I suggest you to zoom in your picture (original picture) and see the very nice venation (veins in Buchanania is almost parallel as that of Mangifera; they are infact in the same family). Here, I too have opinion similar to that of Parjanya and Muthu and I think that this could be Ixora arborea. Ixora parviflora could be an option but one has to see the mature fruit or flowering twig. Muthu, It cant be Pavetta, because pavetta branches and branch lets are white or whitish and may not become a tree! Pavetta would become a small tree or large shrub. I would be posting Buchnania lanzan new leaf pictures soon. In fact, Muthu Karthiks posting of a new leaf after fire is actually Buchnania lanzan that I wrongly id as Semicarpus anacardium but Vijayashankar has doubted it as Buchnania. Please correct the same. I would post the same in that thread as well later Regards Giby On Apr 24, 1:31 pm, Neil Soares <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > Agree with Dr.Chile.
